Image Consultants and Personal Stylists for Men in San Francisco

Start here

What’s This About

These nine Bay Area image consultants and personal stylists offer styling you can book; five say on their websites that they work with men, and each of the other four entries says what its site does and does not state.

Each entry says what the consultant offers, such as:

closet audits and wardrobe edits

personal shopping with pre-selected clothes

colour analysis

executive presence and personal branding

virtual sessions

and many more!

Prices are quoted only where a consultant publishes them, with the date we checked.

Key Points

01Every consultant listed has a live website that says they work in San Francisco or the Bay Area.

02Two consultants publish styling fees; for the others, ask for an itemised quote.

03Several work from Marin or Silicon Valley and also offer virtual sessions.

04Ask whether clothing, alterations and travel are included before you book.

This list is for men in San Francisco and the wider Bay Area who want help with their clothes from a personal stylist or image consultant.

Each consultant below has a current website that says they work in the Bay Area, and each one offers styling or image consulting; where a site does not say it works with men, the entry says so.

Several work from Marin, Silicon Valley or other Bay Area towns rather than the city itself, and most also offer virtual sessions.

The consultants are listed in no particular order.

Where a consultant publishes prices, we quote them with the date we checked; where a site lists no prices, ask for an itemised quote before you book.

1. Maya Alex, M.A.D MGMT

M.A.D MGMT is a San Francisco styling agency founded by Maya Alex.

Its website lists personal styling, image transformation, beauty consulting, gender consulting and personal shopping, both locally and internationally.

The site describes its help as open to anyone who wants a change of image, wardrobe or style, but it does not describe a separate men’s service or publish prices, so ask about both when you get in touch.

2. Judy Domenici

Judy Domenici is an image consultant and personal shopper working in San Francisco and Marin.

Her website says her services are for men and women, as well as teenagers and children.

Services listed on her site include closet consultations, wardrobe coordinating sessions with a photo lookbook, business and career wardrobe planning, special event shopping, travel preparation and virtual sessions.

Her site does not publish prices.

3. Shelley Golden

Shelley Golden is a personal stylist and image consultant based in Silicon Valley who works across San Francisco and the Bay Area, in person or over Zoom.

Her site has a dedicated men’s styling page, with packages that combine a style and personal branding assessment, colour analysis with a personal colour fan, a closet audit, pre-shopping and an accompanied shopping trip.

She also offers J. Hilburn made-to-measure menswear, styling for photo shoots and talks, and a Zoom presence session.

Her about page says she is a certified colour consultant through The Image and Color Institute International and a Color Specialist Member of Color Designers International, with more than 20 years of image consulting in Chicago, Amsterdam, the US East Coast and San Francisco.

Her site does not publish prices.

4. Jackie Conlin

Jackie Conlin is a personal stylist and image consultant who works with men, women and families in San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Her services page sets out three steps: a closet consultation, a personal wardrobe shopping trip with clothes pre-selected for you, and an at-home wardrobe coordinating session that ends with a printed and digital lookbook.

She also lists virtual styling, travel preparation and special event shopping.

Her site does not publish prices.

5. Supreet Chahal

Supreet Chahal runs Style By Supreet, a personal styling service based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Her styling programme covers a consultation on your goals, closet, body type and colouring, a wardrobe edit, a shopping list, shopping for the gaps, home fittings and a photo lookbook of your outfits.

Her homepage lists styling services at $1,800 to $4,000, in person or virtual (checked October 2026).

She also sells a self-paced men’s style course, and her blog includes menswear articles.

Her site does not say directly who her one-to-one styling is for, but a testimonial on her home page describes a wardrobe she built for a client’s husband; ask when you get in touch.

6. Sarah Liller

Sarah Liller of Styling With Sarah is a personal stylist, colour analyst and image consultant based in San Rafael, serving the San Francisco Bay Area in person and other clients virtually.

Her site says she works with women and men.

Her styling services page lists a Signature STYLE Package at $3,950, VIP Styling Support at $6,950 for six months or $12,000 for twelve months, and a Prep Package for photo shoots at $1,750 for three looks (checked October 2026).

She also offers seasonal colour analysis in person at her San Rafael office or digitally; ask for the current price.

7. Kimberly Gant, Canvas Styling

Kimberly Gant is the chief stylist at Canvas Styling, which works with men and women in San Francisco and the Greater Bay Area.

Her about page mentions a graduate programme at FIDM and merchandising and buying roles at San Francisco retailers including Gymboree and Sephora.

Her services start with a phone call and a home or virtual consultation, followed by options such as a two-hour session with colour draping and a closet review, or personal shopping packages with pre-shopping and a three-hour shopping trip.

Her site does not publish fees, but it suggests a clothing budget of $2,500 or more for the shopping packages, on top of the styling fee (checked October 2026).

8. Joseph Rosenfeld

Joseph Rosenfeld is an executive image consultant working in New York and Silicon Valley, with a page for clients in San Francisco and San Jose.

His site says he works mainly with executives and attorneys, through programmes such as Rev Up for a single high-stakes event, Breakout over three months and Iconic over six months.

His site does not say directly whether he works with men, women or both, but client stories on his about page describe both.

His philosophy page explains the Rosenfeld Image Theory, which draws on Surrealist art and archetypes to connect how you dress with how you see yourself.

His site does not publish prices; it offers a free initial consultation.

9. Lili Henry

Lili Henry is a personal stylist and image consultant working in San Francisco and New York.

Her site says she holds an image consulting diploma from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

Her San Francisco services start with an at-home consultation with colour analysis, followed by closet editing, personal shopping with an in-store fitting, or event styling and travel planning.

Her site is written mainly for women, but a testimonial on her media page describes a husband who booked a colour and fit consultation and an in-store shopping session, so ask her about men’s services directly.

Prices are given on request through the form on her styling page.

Conclusion

The consultants above work in different ways, so compare what each one includes before you choose.

Shelley Golden, Sarah Liller, Kimberly Gant and Lili Henry list colour analysis on their sites, Supreet Chahal’s programme includes a look at your colouring, and Joseph Rosenfeld focuses on executive presence for senior professionals.

Before booking, ask how many hours the fee covers, whether clothing, alterations and travel are paid separately, and whether the consultant works in person, virtually or both.
