From all brands like Free People stocking boho chic style clothing, footwear, and accessories, these are 20 of the most affordable and stylish right now.

Thanks to celebs like Nicole Ritchie, Rachel Zoe, Vanessa Hudgens, and Sienna Miller sporting ‘Free People’ clothes, the brand has become the voice of Boho fashion.

Without further ado, these are the 20 most affordable brands like Free People you can shop for right now.

1. Anthropologie

Anthropologie bohemian style dress

EDITOR’S NOTE

Great offering of boho styles for every occasion – I highly recommend the label if you’re after colorful prints and want to get ready for the summer.

Founded by Richard Hayne (founder of Urban Outfitters), Anthropologie is one of the most famous boho retailers in the world.

While everybody is looking for stores like Anthropologie and sees them as the largest Free People competitor, Anthropologie is, in fact, part of the same chain.

However, the Anthropologie store stands out from Free People thanks to unique cuts, colorful prints, and a fresh, hip vibe.

This boho retailer has styles for different occasions, so there’s plenty to choose from.

2. Reformation

Reformation sustainable Boho clothing

EDITOR’S NOTE

Discover some of the most current fashion trends in boho-chic clothing, beautifully paired with a strong commitment to sustainability.

I love Reformation not only for its boho styles but also for its commitment to sustainability in fashion.

Instead of synthetic materials, the brand uses natural, renewable, and plant-based textiles.

Moreover, Reformation designs all of its boho collections from scratch, so you know the styles you buy on their site can’t be found anywhere else.

Reformation’s boho garments, made from sustainable textiles, have a touch of Indie style.

3. Fillyboo

Fillyboo blue boho style dress

EDITOR’S NOTE

Hand-made, artisanal boho clothes are made by local craftsmen who love people and the planet.

Fillyboo is the epitome of hand-made boho clothing from luxurious fabrics.

The label’s bohemian cut dresses are designed and hand-made in Australia by local artisans.

The pieces are then hand-embroidered and crocheted by highly skilled artisans from Bali and Java.

I like this brand for its boho clothes and its support of small family businesses in both the islands and Australia.

4. Fanm Mon

Fanm Mon luxurious boho dresses

EDITOR’S NOTE

Rare and limited edition bohemian-inspired clothes made by Haitian artisans.

Fanm Mon is one of my favorite bohemian clothing brands out there.

Luxurious, the brand does plus-size boho styles for people with bodies like mine.

A modern symbol of consciousness, femininity, and freedom, Fanm Mon is a sustainable fashion label of Haitian heritage.

The brand is adored by stars such as Lauryn Hill, Morgan Stewart, and the twin sisters Cipriana Quann and TK Wonder.

Fanm Mon is a direct reference to the designer’s Haitian roots, and it means ‘peasant women’ in Creole.

No longer living in Haiti, the designer’s choice of ‘Fanm Mon’ name is a beautiful homage to all Haitian women.

5. Faithfull The Brand

EDITOR’S NOTE

Best bohemian clothing store for whimsical prints with garments that have a deep vintage vibe.

Adored by celebrities like Kate Middleton, Faithfull The Brand stands out amongst all boho brands for its whimsical prints.

More than a clothing brand, Faithfull The Brand represents a lifestyle that’s free-spirited, culturally diverse, and hippie at heart.

The brand’s unique designs are a call to love the same clothing repeatedly without being wasteful or inconsiderate.

Check out the brand’s feminine boho dresses, relaxed silhouettes, vintage kimonos, and classic-style trousers.

The label also stocks many boho accessories, makeup bags, travel bags, and many more similar items.

6. ModCloth

EDITOR’S NOTE

Affordable boho-chic clothing is available in many body types and sizes, including extra-large plus-size or petite clothing.

ModCloth is another label that designs and sells clothes like Free People but for women who defy convention.

With cheaper and more affordable boho styles, the brand offers true vintage-inspired women’s clothing in playful prints and unique silhouettes.

The brand’s clothes are for everybody and everybody — with products available in a diverse size range, from 00–28, including plus sizes.

ModCloth is regarded as “We, the Free People brand” and a one-stop shop for one-of-a-kind boho styles.

The brand’s offering ranges from casual to bohemian wedding dresses, cozy boho sweaters, pulled-together blouses, shoes, and handbags.

7. Farm Rio

20 Brands Like Free People for Affordable Boho Chic Fashion

EDITOR’S NOTE

Unique vintage-inspired and feminine boho aesthetics are delivered to your right from the heart of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Samba, boho samba, baby!

Launched by a group of creatives from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (who believe in the existence of happiness), Farm Rio is an apparel brand that Anthropologie carries on its official website.

More than a boho-style brand, Farm Rio has been fostering cultural movements since 1997.

The brand infuses vintage styles with an elevated, feminine boho aesthetic and plants a tree in the Amazon rainforest for each garment sold via the official website.

8. SANIKAI

Sanikai sustainable bohemian clothing

EDITOR’S NOTE

A great brand if you’re looking for retro boho-chic clothing styles. Moreover, each piece is made by young and talented designers and only from sustainable and natural fabrics.

Another Boho label I love very much, and I believe it’ll compete one day with the top fashion brands.

Sanikai is a Swiss-based boho clothing label that blends timeless fashion design with exceptional quality and ethical manufacturing.

Famous for using natural fabrics and recycled materials fused with Swiss perfectionism, Sanikai chooses sustainable fabrics and has a positive attitude towards a conscious lifestyle.

Hand-sewn at the heart of Zurich, Sanikai’s unique creations are made in collaboration with young and talented boho stylists and designers worldwide.

9. Stone Cold Fox

20 Brands Like Free People for Affordable Boho Chic Fashion

EDITOR’S NOTE

Stone Cold Fox is a unique store dedicated to vintage-inspired, boho-style wedding dresses.

Here’s another boho clothing label from Los Angeles that I love a lot.

Stone Cold Fox takes inspiration from the delicacy of vintage clothing and seeks to make it fresh again.

The brand also has beautiful bohemian-style wedding dresses.

In creating its unique boho lines, the designer draws inspiration from classic celebs and designers such as Jane Birkin and Ossie Clark.

The label aims to show off the best features of a woman’s figure.

Accordingly, each piece has a perfect finish, designed to take you from day to evening, week to weekend, and home to travel away.

10. Everlane

Everlane plus size boho clothing

EDITOR’S NOTE

Great brand for top-quality oversized boho bags, backpacks, and vintage totes that you can’t find anywhere else.

Everlane’s boho styles are quality crafted with attention to comfort and sustainability.

Everlane’s collections focus on denim, ensuring anything you choose matches beautifully with the good old pair of blue jeans.

You can pair Everlane’s boho styles with oversized bohemian tote bags, vintage carpet bags, or pure boho backpacks.

Moreover, since jeans couture is at the core of Everlane’s business, the brand sources its denim from sustainable sources only for Fair Trade standards.

11. Lucky Brand

Lucky Brand boho denim style

EDITOR’S NOTE

Stunningly beautiful boho-style jeans made from high-quality denim from an American label driven by a conscious, slow fashion ethos.

Regarded as an American classic, Lucky Brand is more known for its boho denim styles.

However, don’t think that Lucky Brand is all about denim.

The brand now makes excellent boho shirts, jackets, activewear, and dresses.

I also like Lucky Brand for its open support of several philanthropic causes.

For example, the brand donates a percentage of its monthly sales and clothing garments.

12. My Sleeping Gypsy

20 Brands Like Free People for Affordable Boho Chic Fashion

EDITOR’S NOTE

Rare boho dresses with hand-embroidered details, made by local experts in Ukraine, infused with superb blends of Slavic heritage.

Built on the Vyshyvanka Culture, My Sleeping Gypsy is the home of Ukrainian boho couture.

With enchanting traditions and persuasive folklore by the mythical narrative of Vyshyvanka, My Sleeping Gypsy’s boho style looks amazing.

The designer employs superb blends of Slavic heritage with contemporary influences to create luxurious boho creations that connect imaginary realms with the real world.

As a place of unique patterns and elaborate ornaments, My Sleeping Gypsy stocks ankle-length hippie dresses in puffed sleeves, delicate button-facing playful blouses, skirts with ruffles, and embroideries of bright colors.

Each My Sleeping Gypsy’s creation takes weeks of work and thousands of meters of embroidery.

Above all, these rare boho styles tell stories about Slavic culture and its profound spiritual meanings.

13. Cleobella

Cleobella artisanal boho dress

EDITOR’S NOTE

Local artisans created vintage-inspired, hand-made boho clothing, shoes, and accessories in Bali.

Founded in Bali, Indonesia, Cleobella’s boho collections are hand-made by local artisans.

The brand is famous for its stylish, laid-back boho pieces, eye-catching bags, and vintage-style shoes.

Cleobella is O’Brien’s (the brand founder) mother’s name, and according to the designer, she’s the main source of inspiration along with the local culture.

Like the Free People brand, Cleobella maintains the same classic lines of bohemian heritage and vintage styles.

14. One Teaspoon

Gigi Hadid wearing One Teaspoon jeans

EDITOR’S NOTE

Celeb-loved boho clothes for parties, streetwear outfits, and even boho beach dresses adorned in dedicated feminine prints.

From Gigi Hadidi to Kourtney Kardashian, One Teaspoon’s boho-chic styles are adored by celebrities worldwide.

Thanks to its trademark tattered hem, One Teaspoon’s boho garments never fail to deliver that rocker-fashionista combination that is equally cheeky and sincere.

The brand was launched in 2000, and ever since, the One Teaspoon has also offered excellent boho creations for women, men, and children.

I love One Teaspoon’s pretty feminine prints, party dresses, boho beach dresses, flattering wrap dresses, minis, maxis, floral print blouses, and more.

15. Minkpink

Launched by the Australian designer Rachel Evans in 2005, Minkpink fosters the creativity and craft of young local haute couture talents and artisans.

Driven by a minimalist wardrobe philosophy, Minkpink has become one of Australia’s top 5 boho brands.

Minkpink’s maxi dresses and boho beachwear are my go-to clothing line for effortless chic, fashionable comfort and enlightened style.

Minkpink also stands out from the pack thanks to its clever play of colors and patterns.

Finally, from all stores like Free People, this Australian brand specializes in styles and cuts that preserve the rare art of aborigen boho tailoring.

16. For Love & Lemons

20 Brands Like Free People for Affordable Boho Chic Fashion

EDITOR’S NOTE

A store for edgy boho-chic clothing with a unique sense of comfort.

Founded in 2011 by best friends Laura Hall and Gillian Rose Kern, ‘For Love & Lemons’ creates a unique Free People style and a sense of comfort that appeals to boho clothing fans.

But For Love & Lemons also has a side of edgy and sultry vibes in most of its feminine styles.

Love this boho brand for its unique detailing and colors that always leave me daydreaming of an exotic holiday in the scorching sun.

18. We Are Kindred

20 Brands Like Free People for Affordable Boho Chic Fashion

EDITOR’S NOTE

One of my fav brands if you’re after a luxurious bohemian look. The label manages to create and pair clothes that confer a luxurious look that’ll make you stand out from a mile away.

From all stores like Free People, ‘We Are Kindred‘ has a unique story that begins with two sisters and their vision of aesthetic clothing.

Launched in 2013 by Lizzie and Georgie Renkert, the brand draws from over 30 years of collective experience in the fashion industry.

The designers’ joint experience in fashion magazine editing, design, and buying blend effortlessly to create a unique contemporary bohemian style.

The Australian label is a celebration of unique aesthetics: feminine, sensual, free, modern, and famous for rich embellishments and bespoke prints.

19. Spell

20 Brands Like Free People for Affordable Boho Chic Fashion

EDITOR’S NOTE

A label for those looking for a vintage-inspired (even nostalgic) bohemian style of clothing. Also, great for super playful hippie prints you can’t get anywhere else.

Also known as Spell & The Gypsy Collective, Spell is one of the brands like Free People that brings a unique, modern-bohemian style.

The boho fashion label is from the idyllic beachside town of Byron Bay, Australia.

Inspired by far-off places, vintage clothing, and childhood memories, Spell’s boho designs allude to dreams of freedom, hippie vibes, spells, and wilderness.

Spell’s feminine floral dresses are oozing of turquoise love and age-old laces, whispering to your childhood.

The brand taps into that sense of nostalgia, beauty, and freedom that compliments the female spirit.
