After years of managing hundreds of fashion brands from London's office of a global retailer, Mandy has ventured into freelancing. Connected with several fashion retailers and media platforms in the US, Australia, and the UK, Mandy uses her expertise to consult for emerging fashion brands create top-notch content as an editorial strategist for several online publications.
Thank you, indeed all these fashion magazines are very nice and interesting, excellent information provided.
I used to buy and read the usual fashion magazines, like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper’s Bazar, Marie Claire, Allure, GQ, Vanity Fair, and InStyle. But more recently I’ve noticed that the content was increasingly opinionated.
The editorialist content was moving from providing value to providing activist and even political content, to a point that these were anything but fashion and style magazines. Also, buying printed fashion magazines was no longer seen as a cool thing but as a tasteless waste of money, paper, and the environment.
Last year I discovered this online fashion magazine, The VOU and I genuinely believe it is the best of all online fashion and style magazines I know. Challenging, informative, covering some of the latest trends and styles, catering to young readers, The VOU is the best fashion magazine right now!
I work as a visual merchandiser for a big high-end fashion company in NYC and I always find and follow fashion blogs and bloggers. Here are some of my fav fashion bloggers right now, covering any kind of fashion style and trends, from gothic to y2k and lgbtq+ styles: Chrissy Ford, Eniswardrobe, Catarina Mira, Guy Overboard, Chiara Ferragni, Lizzy Hadfield, Freddie Harrel, Yolande Maco. Please share yours as well.
Great selection of fashion magazines and fashion blogs, would love to see some fashion magazines in different languages, like Spanish or French as well.
Excellent selection of fashion magazines and blogs that cover the anglophone sphere, would be great to see some Spanish and Portuguese language publications as well, for people like me living in South America.
I think that old-style fashion magazines like Elle and Vogue, even Trendspotter and Instyle, that cover all sorts of subjects but fashion, from horoscope to celebs’ net worth and back are going to become irrelevant in the eyes of google. Sites like this one, focused on fashion only will take over, mark my words.
The future is niche magazines: tattoo magazines, nail magazines, hair magazines, travel magazines, and LGBTQ magazines; I think the old-style giants like Cosmopolitan and Elle are dying without even realizing it.
I’ve saved this page to check on this selection of fashion magazines and fashion blogs again and again. Please add the RSS feed of each magazine in the article so we use it.
This is an amazing selection of fashion blogs and fashion magazines, I think the younger generation no longer trusts Vogue or Elle but independent designers and influencers on social media.
I agree with Inka a lot, the world has changed, and we, young readers, no longer have time for old-style fashion magazines that are paid to present a specific narrative. Not to mention that vogue, the printed edition, is over 80% adverts and has little to no value – wouldn’t read it for free.
it seems like 2022 is a fashion year, but also your content is so informative happy to read
This is an astonishing choice of style websites and style magazines, I think the more youthful age no longer trusts Vogue or Elle except for free fashioners and powerhouses via virtual entertainment
