The company grew from Filippo Della Valle’s cobbler’s workshop in the Marche region of central Italy in the early 1900s, and his grandson Diego Della Valle joined the business in 1975.

Fashion Week Daily reported on 27 July 2016 that the English actor Jack Huston fronted Tod’s men’s campaign for Autumn/Winter 2016-17, photographed by Tom Craig at a villa outside Milan.
The report names a quilted leather biker-style jacket, the Pash, and the Gommino sneaker, a trainer version of the driving shoe.
A leather jacket with trainers is an easy weekend outfit, and it looks neater when the jacket is short enough to sit at the top of the trouser pocket.

2. The Tod’s Band: Seven Men for Spring/Summer 2018
The Fashionisto reported on 11 March 2018 that Tod’s spring-summer 2018 campaign, the “Tod’s Band”, featured the models Jin Dachuan, Andrés Velencoso and Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis, the dancer Eric Underwood and the actors Will Peltz, Louis Hofmann and Lorenzo Richelmy.
The report does not name individual shoes, so we do not attach a model to any of these men.
The campaign shows the brand’s idea of relaxed Italian summer dressing, which is easy to copy with light colours and soft loafers.

3. Jungwoo: Tod’s Korea Ambassador
Tenasia reported on 4 September 2023 that Jungwoo of the K-pop group NCT had been named Tod’s Korea’s first male ambassador.
His appointment shows the brand reaching younger buyers, who are more likely to wear loafers with relaxed tailoring or wide trousers than with a suit.

4. Xiao Zhan: Global Brand Ambassador
Tag Walk reported on 6 February 2024 that Tod’s had named the Chinese actor and singer Xiao Zhan a global brand ambassador, after working with him since 2021.
The report says he starred in the Spring-Summer 2024 campaign, which featured the Bubble Gommino, a version of the driving loafer with larger rubber pebbles.
Wear: a light knitted polo shirt, pleated navy or taupe trousers, Gommino-style loafers in tan or navy suede and a lightweight suede or cotton jacket.
5. Han: Brand Ambassador in 2026
Soompi reported on 15 June 2026 that Han of Stray Kids had been announced as a Tod’s brand ambassador.
According to the report, the announcement images show him in the brand’s Pashmy jacket and Red Dot sneakers.
Wear: a quilted or padded leather jacket, a grey hoodie or crew-neck sweatshirt, straight dark jeans and clean leather trainers.
6. Adrien Brody: Guest at the Madison Avenue Reopening
Whitewall reported on 19 February 2024 that Adrien Brody was among the guests when Tod’s celebrated the reopening of its flagship shop on Madison Avenue in New York during New York Fashion Week.
The report does not describe his outfit, so we do not say which shoes he wore.
