Those wearing alt, underground, edgy, and fashion-forward clothing know that not many online stores match the offering of ‘Dolls Kill.’

Covering all kinds of alternative styles, like Punk, Goth, Grunge, Cyber, and more, Dolls Kill’s selection of alternative clothing is hard to beat.

However, I have my styling secrets, and in this article, I’ll list 15 stores like Dolls Kill that offer similar clothing but at super-affordable prices.

1. HOT TOPIC

Hot Topic store like DOLLS KILL

Hot Topic, launched in 1990, started by offering the ultimate music fan essential: band T-shirts.

The brand became very popular among the fans of Goth fashion style, who flipped when they walked into Hot Topic stores and saw Bauhaus, The Cure, TSOL, and Depeche Mode rock tees.

Within a year, the company offered about 50 band titles and rock-inspired Goth clothing lines like Lip Service and Serious.

As they continued to expand, the company discovered that fashion buyers were also drawn to underground cartoons, cult movies, and comic book scenes.

Hot Topic’s current offering is similar to Dolls Kill – even better for band-related apparel and licensed merchandise in the alternative, underground fashion space.

2. BLACKMILK

BlackMilk Clothing was launched in 2009 by James Lillis – an Australian designer who made clothes on his kitchen table on a sewing machine he got from selling his CD player.

Twelve years later, Black Milk Clothing is a multi-million dollar company, with factories churning hundreds of new styles monthly to keep up with orders worldwide.

The brand’s variety of fashion is impressive – from quirky fashion cuts to sparkly dresses, vinyl skirts, edgy kicks, and neon swimsuits; the brand’s range of apparel is out of this world.

From sexy leggings and form-fitting dresses to activewear and even catsuits, you’ll have a fantastic time sifting through the enormous collection of BlackMilk.

Excellent selection if you’re into festival clothes and other exciting styles hard to find at Dolls Kill’s online store.

Tillys, like Dolls Kill, boasts a wide range of edgy clothing for those with a personal style.

The novelty retailer stocks a variety of pop culture and music merch and rockabilly-inspired clothing and accessories.

Above all, Tilly’s offering of alternative clothes might take some of you back to the cringy middle school days.

Yet, you might be surprised at how fantastic their offering is – if you have the time to take a good look – as one of the few comparable stores to Dolls Kill that can help you stand out.

For streetwear and statement-making styles similar to those from Dolls Kills, check out Tillys’ denim, skater, and hipster looks.

Pacsun edgy fashion brand like DOLLS KILL

Pacsun‘s roots can be traced to a small surf shop in Seal Beach, CA.

Nowadays, online stores like Dolls Kill offer products for both men and women, including edgy styles in jeans, tees, tanks, polos, knits, and flannels.

Aside from great hipster fashion clothes and accessories, I recommend Urban Outfitters for make-up that perfectly matches alternative clothing styles.

13. ASOS

ASOS originally meant AsSeenOnScreen, with the tagline “Buy what you see on film and TV” – because it only sold imitations of clothing from those mediums (for example, Brad Pitt’s red leather jacket from the 1999 film Fight Club).

As a worthy alternative to Dolls Kill, thanks to a huge range of similar designs for all body types, the brand’s primary office in Camden Town, London, gives the company a stylistic edge.

  2. I am a guy by birth but I always loved to dress like a girl. I am having a lot of troubles here in India because of my fashion choices and I have to hide it, most of the time. It is not just my parents and family, but also the way the general public thinks about a man wearing women’s clothes. But I really love it, and I think that wearing edgy girly clothes from Dolls Kill really represents me best. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you so much for writing this article, it helped me discover some new stores similar to Dolls Kill that I like a lot and will definitely buy in the future.

And, after reading lots normie articles about dolls kill wannabe stores and edgy clothing styles in old-style magazines like Vogue and Elle this article is a breath of fresh air!!!!
Pretty much everything I hoped for is here, and what I want to see on a daily basis. Also, for an extra edgy and different statement, I’d cut off tank tops or lots and lots of chains. Also, what about tails and what about things that you would not see in a normal society at this point.

  5. Is it true that social media users are coming together to boycott the Dolls Kill brand after its owner, Shoddy Lynn, took to Instagram to post a video response to some of her company’s behavior over the last couple of years? Apparently, in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests that have erupted around the world, Lynn posted on Instagram in solidarity with the police that was, at the time, attacking and detaining protestors around Los Angeles. If this is true, then this article helping me to find alternative labels to Dolls Kill is a great find!

  6. This article did it for me. Great collection of similar stores to Dolls Kill and above all, these similar stores are much more affordable. Also, for an extra edgy and different fashion statement, I’d remove tank tops and chains and replace them with faux leather as I think it makes everything looks much more edgy.

  7. Dolls Kill is still a one stop shop over these other stores. Its like streetwear meets goth meets edm meets a touch of lux. Goodbye Bread is another store like Dolls Kill

Yes, there are brands here selling pieces over $100+, but the designs are intricate or interesting. Above all, most websites on this list have something I consider “edgy clothing,” so can’t recommend this article enoght!
